Ever since his childhood, Jules has been surrounded by art and passionate about acting,
directing, writing, film. He studied at the National Theatre School of Canada from 2014
to 2018.

At the National Theatre School, he worked on improvisation with Nicolas Cantin and
Hélène Mercier. He tackled Dalpé and Tremblay's theater with Stéphane Jacques, Ionesco with Élise Guilbeault, Romeo and Juliette with Linda Laplante, Mouawad's universe with Richard Thériault, poetry with Dany Boudreault, a collage of Molière's texts with Denis Lavallou. He danced under the watchful eye of Melanie Demers and Manon Oligny. He met director Christian Lapointe when he played youth in Marcel Dubé's Les Beaux Dimanches. He touched on Hamlet with Marc Béland and worked on a show for young audiences by Arianna Bardesono and Zach Fraser. He performed two of Gabrielle
Chapdelaine’s texts, under the direction of Michel-Maxime Legault and Philippe Cyr. He
had the chance to collaborate to a collective creation in Paris with Robert Bellefeuille and
to be directed by Florent Siaud at the Monument National in Chekhov's Les Trois Sœurs (Three Sisters).

During his training, he made his own artistic experiences as a performer during theater
festivals, in productions such as: Détruire nous allons (Philippe Boutin) in 2014,
MA(G)MA (Léo Loisel) in 2015, Quand on est réduit à ses os (Alice Dorval) 2016,
Hamlet-Machine (Jocelyn Pelletier) 2017. Besides, Jocelyn Pelletier will also direct him
in work by Ravenhill, Falk Richter, Heiner Müller.

To feed his performances, Jules likes to explore poetry, contemporary dance, visual art as
well as video and sound editing.

You will have the pleasure of seeing him on stage in Lascaux (Jasmine Dubé and Pierre
Robitaille), as well as in Le reste vous le connaissez par le cinéma (Christian Lapointe).
